  1. Being from the south, I've never been to a Carson's (tho I did once help design an ad spread for them helping a former co-worker at Proffitt's Corp.) how does their merch mix compare to what Parisian had?

  2. Carsons is more like Proffitt's than Parisian: nice but not very upmarket.

  3. Ah, seeing these pics reminds me that I need to get around to taking some Carson's pics myself of certain locations of theirs I've kept wanting to take pics of for a long time. Particularly want to go to both the Woodmar Mall and Randhurst Mall locations, before those are torn down and rebuilt.

    That aside, before the downtown State St. Carson's closed, I did take a final trip to that store and got a decent number of pics of it. Once I do get around to uploading them onto my flickr account, I'll gladly let you repost them on LiveMalls, if you want.
