  1. Cool! Speaking of Eastland, I went there last week and honestly the Sears stores looks very healthy like it would look in any typical mall. And most of the mall interior is still leased... It's clear that Dillard's is on its last leg but everything else seems to be doing ok. Oh sad to see the ice skating rink gone though :(

  2. Dillard's announced it will close next month.

    Talk of the new mall (I-485 @ Lawyers Road) east of Eastland seems to have but disappeared this past year. This was one of the reasons Belk closed their Eastland store.

  3. Cantnot: Good to hear a positive story from Eastland, or at least a less gloomy one.

    Pat: Supposedly, the Mint Hill mall is on schedule, but it indeed has been very quiet on the development front.
