Neiman Marcus opened its first Washington store in 1978 at the multi-level Mazza Gallerie shopping center. It contains 130,000 square feet of space on three levels.

This store has been updated several times, but still retains a significant amount of its original character, including several pieces of original artwork commissioned for the store.
