  1. I love those transitional spaces that Nordstrom stores usually feature. A nearly perfect department store would feature modernist showcase windows and those neat transitional zones.

  2. I tend to agree. Strangely though, Nordstrom is one of the few stores that even does transitional zones or showcases anymore. Occasionally you'll see a Saks or Neiman Marcus, but it's more the exception than the rule.
